Chen & Ryan’s wedding took place in Mountain Winery, Saratoga CA.   What an amazing wedding.  There was so much joy on the wedding day that when I was editing this images I’ve never felt so happy.  Joy that this couple has in unbelievable.   The light during whole day was perfect, we had partially cloudy day and it gave such a gentle perfect colors throughout the day.    What a happy happy couple!   Two words about the venue. Mountain Winery is located in San Francisco area pretty close to San Jose.  Onece we arrived at the entry there is long narrow road that leads to the top of the mountain that overlooks entire valley.  So views are breathtaking.

This afternoon we would like to share a post about an engagement session.  Several times a year we get inquiries from couples who just need an engagement photo session.   First it seemed little bit odd to us why would couple want to book us just for an engagement session and not asking us to cover the entire wedding day.   But then we understood that there are so many different circumstances.  Sometimes couples are on a very tight budget. The other times their wedding is out of town and they have their friend/relative who will cover wedding day but they still would love to have engagement session done by us.   So even thou it’s very rare that we get inqury from couples who just need an engagement session, mostly we receive inquires about photographing entire wedding, however one’s a while we do get a request to cover just an engagement session.      And this evening I wanted to share this post and say that yes we do offer engagement sessions exclusively, now it’s part of our Ala Carte options.   In last 2 years we had several destination engagement sessions that were several hundred miles away from Sacramento. Good evening blog readers!   Last week I shared with you Paul & Victoria’s wedding images.  If you missed them you can view them at this link Sacramento CA and Monterey CA wedding photos   After the wedding day Paul and Victoria hired us for additional day shoot and we decided to drive to this beautiful place that’s located in Monterrey CA.   As always  we were blessed with nice weather and beautiful sky.  I really love how images came out in this rocky area.  Combination of ocean and mountains is amazing!   Browse around, please leave us a comment and let us know what you think!  While I was trying to navigate safely between this rocks, looking for a good angle, bridal party was getting bored, so we went back and created some fun shoots with the entire group.

I’m glad to share Paul and Victoria’s wedding day 1.   The reason why it’s day 1 is because some of our couples like to  hire us for additional day photo session.  And image above  where Paul and Vicky sit and rocks was taken on day 2.  Earlier on this week on Blog post called  Paul and Victoria  ”sneak peak” I mentioned that after we took series of images on rocks overlooking ocean,  we claimed  closer to the ocean  water and I asked Paul and Victoria to sit and gently kiss each other.  This is the image I was referring to, hope you love this image with soft gentile colors as much as we do!  Click here to view Paul+Victoria engagement session photos.

Earlier on this week i have shared very fun engagement session of Victoria and Paul.   And this evening I would love to share with you sneak peak images from V+P wedding that I took in Monterey California.  The location was so beautiful.  For this shot I picked wider angle lens to capture all the surroundings.   Victoria’s (brides) wedding dress was amazing.  About 15 minutes later (after I shoot this image) we walked  {climped}  down this rocks and sun was getting very low so light was super soft.  I asked Victoria and Paul to sit on rocks and gently kiss each other, personally I love those images as well.  That image came out so calm and gentile but I had to pick one image for sneak peak preview.   Oh yes  image at night with amazing sky and ocean on the background received most LIKES on Facebook fan page.   Sometime ago I meantioned this on the blog or facebook that I truly believe  we live in one of the best states in this country.    We get to enjoy all this beauty and it’s actually warm compare to so many other states (like Minnesota where we lived for many years).   I have many more exiting images  from Victoria+Paul’s wedding that I’ll share  later on this week so STAY TUNED!
