Julie+Renju=12.28.2008 SanJose & S.San Francisco wedding

The church architecture was Wow.  Oksana and I loved it a lot.   Julie (bride) showed me photos before on wedding consultation so I knew that the reception and ceremony areas are going to be very beautiful.  But when I walked in, I said “Wow! again!”   I keep asking my self question, how come with all modern technology we don’t build anything like this anymore.

Full story of the wedding should be on blog tomorrow.

Dancing at the end of the reception time.

Here is couple detail shoots of albums.   The first one below has black leather cover.

Embossed names at the bottom right corner.

Here is photo of album spread.  I know it might be confusing due to huge MC Logo going accross.

Different album.   Here you can see spine of the album.

Here is yet different album.   The Bigger album is for couple.  2 slightly smaller one’s are for parents and even smaller one’s for friends.

Photo_prints_year_2005

Good afternoon everyone.   Not too long ago Oksana asked me
Andrey do you realized that we stopped printing personal photos?”  And I did realized that, so I have decided to put all personal photos from DVD’s to our network hard drive.   We have so many photos that to transfer years from 2005 to 2008 it took me approx 8 hrs.  Lots of photos.   I probably shoot from 12,000 to 15,000 photos a month (mostly business).

Here is a question for you!  Do you print photos or do you just store them to computer hard drive?  So many people stopped printing photos after digital camera’s came out.
Importance of backing up photos:
Years ago I learned how to assemble computers and learned networking and some IP operations.   People who knew that I can fix computers, hire me to fix them.    I remember so many times computers had so many problems they didn’t even want to start up, so I had to log in thru Save modes, restore their hard drives etc…
So many clients had their personal photos stored in one personal computer!  When I asked them if they had a back up copy of their personal photos, most of them told me “No, so please restore hard drive, other wise we’ll be left without several years of photos!”

Computers crash every day!  The question is not if they will, but how soon!  Be wise and store your DATA (photos) somewhere save.   Burn DVD at least one’s in 6 month.   Don’t rely on hard drives.  And take care of your DVD’s with photos,  because DVD’s scratch a lot and you’ll not be able to retrive data as well!

Kimberly+Scott_E-Session

Good afternoon everyone.  Today Monday i photographed 2 big photo shoots.   Here is first one.  Kimberly and Scott E-session (invitation photo shoot).

First at all loved working with this couple.   We tried to have lots of fun.   We were throwing leaves up, running around to stay worm because it was 46 outside and it’s pretty cold for CA.   I will definitely try to blog more photos if I can.

Kimberly and Scott drove to Sac-to from  Moraga CA, however I know that Scott flew to CA from South Dakota.   During photo shoot I learned that Scott have relatives in Minnesota as well.   It was very interesting to hear that because my Mom lives in Minneapolis, MN sister in Rapid city, SD and we live in CA.  So we have relatives in same states.

And I just rememberd that in June I’m flying to Minneapolis MN to photograph wedding.   Year 2009 should be fun, I have contracts to fly to Seattle WA, Minneapolis MN, Philadelphia, PA and several other states.   Plus I have requests to go to Massachusets, Florida and New York and obviously Northern California.  So Should be lots of fun:).

The photo at the bottom is the same photo as image #6 in collage above.  When images are so small (like above) they don’t look like fine art.  so I decided to show that image bigger.

Here is little story behind this images above.  After pretty big photoshoot (near 600 images).  We were walking to the car because we were done with photoshoot and for some reason I said “Let’s take couple more photos by that wall.  So Kimberly and Scott agreed (thank-you) and this images are actually my favorite:).

So many times on photoshoot we take lots of photos and from time to time I ask bride and groom ”Can we stop here?” and sometimes they tell me Yes and sometimes “No”.   But from some reason so many times when I decide to take couple more photos, those particular photos turn out to be both Bride and my favorite one’s:).

Inna+Ivo_11_29_2008

Happy Holidays everyone!   Here is Inna and Ivo wedding.

*  Wedding went thru very smooth.   Even thou everyone spoke Bulgarian around me, I’m use to weddings where I do not understand language.  For example I photographed, Romanian, Vietnamese, Bulgarian, Moldovan and other weddings and I was Ok when English language was used.  But many times they spoke on their own language and I didn’t understand.

SPECIAL THANKS!
Inna and Ivo found me thru several other couples that I photographed, so special thanks to Andrey_Olesya 09_08_2007 and Natasha_Vitaliy_08_16_2008 for referal.

It’s me.  For some reason I’m way too serios here:(.

Above I put together a filmstrip collage.   (Now I DO NOT photograph w 35mm film.. use to) so that is just a
digital design.  The reason why I’m bloggin it is because I wanted to show how much/fast I photograph.  On the Blog  usually I’ll put one portrait photo of bride and one photo of groom, and interesting moment etc..  But when I photograph I may shoot up to 3 to 5 frames per second.

Natasha_Gera_E-session (invitation photoshoot)

Good afternoon Everyone!    Here is a photo shoot E-session from Last week.

The wedding will take place in Fresno!  I love FRESNO even thou I have to get up at 3:15 am so I can be at Fresno at 7:45 am.   Still love it!   Gera flew to Natasha all of way to Florida.  And than they drove to Sacramento.

We actually have lots of pictures in several locations HOWEVER because it’s late, I’ll just blog those 6 and I’m logging off:).

I’ll post another E-session that I shoot about a 1 1/2 month ago tomorrow.

Good night.
